Stuck up Tree...

Do remember when you were a kid and you climbed a tree, shot up it like the worlds greatest climber full of your own sense of achievement, then after taking a moment to appreciate your success realised you haven't got a fucking clue how to get back down. Also like the same muscles that propelled you up are useless being used in reverse, you can't see a way back down and then you're left with a choice... call for help, push yourself to make it work and get yourself down or let yourself fall/jump.

I'm not sure where I'm going with this, there is definitely an analogy to be exploited from that, deeper than the one I was aiming at.

So had my weekly music lesson today. It's getting more challenging because basically I'm asking for a lesson in absolutely everything, all of it, all at once, but that is a bit challenging to break up into weekly half hour sessions.

I ran ahead, and climbed too high up my tree, and now I'm kinda stuck (see not really the right analogy but you might be getting the gist)

• Learn everything about G-Major

• Read up on Chord notes and Passing notes
