I am notoriously shit at finding anything in life. I travel along in my little fog of ignorance being surprised and amazed by the new things other people point me at whilst I rarely seem to find anything new for myself. Then often when I do it turns out it's so yesterday etc etc

Yet on a personal level I often find myself out of sink in the other way round, like I'm six months to early for everything. They say fashions go round in circles (which are getting smaller), so my theory is I'm not early, I'm just about as late as you can be without being on time.

What has this got to do with Crywank I here you crying (hopefully not privates in hand).

So owing to my choice of style (ha!) of music Spotify matched similar styles and I discovered Crywank. So late in their existence that they've virtually broken up and so might be due a cum back tour, which of course would be fashionable.

That's the great thing about streaming, the band has been around 14 years, but there are new to me and I can now discover them at leisure.

Also now I have a style name Anti-folk. I don't know entirely what that is, but it's what they are and whilst I'm not on their level there are similarities (so not not their level, long way to climb).

So hearing their stuff has given me a bit of confidence to write a certain way, whilst leaving me now with the fear of mimicking them. I was quite chuffed that I'd sort of struck out and done my own thing, not followed any rules or styles etc

BTW I haven't read down the list of tours they've done, but if they haven't done a cum back tour already I'd be surprised (yes I know I wrote cum, listen to them and you'll see why - they really are quite good).
